How Does Termicap Work?

Termites love a tasty food source and dark conditions.  The Termicap simulates their preferred environment. Eradicating termites at their nest is best achieved by concentrating them in a small area such as inside the Termicap Capsule which can house thousands of Termites at any time.  Once the termites have infested the Termicap, a licensed pest controller will treat the capsule with their preferred termiticide.  The large numbers of termites will then carry the termicide back to the main nest, targeting the problem at its source.

It’s an easy 5 steps!  Here’s how Termicap works.

1. Easily install your Termicap yourself according to our straight-forward recommended Termicap Placement Plan and clear instructions…
2. Monitor your capsule monthly to alert if there is a termite ‘hit’…
3. Call 1800 618 821 to arrange for termiticide treatment if any of your Termicap’s have been ‘hit’ by Termites (If not, continue monthly monitoring)…
4. Nest destruction occurs as the Termites carry the termiticide from Termicap back to the main Termite colony…
5. Order your Termicap refills to restart the process from No. 1 and ensure ongoing Termite protection!
